Orbital by Samantha Harvey

OrbitalThis small book is dense, intensely descriptive and beautifully researched.  It will strike a chord all of sudden when we actually realise we are so teeny tiny living on an incredible planet in the infinite vastness of space. Why do we worry so much about trivial things? Our planet is extraordinary and I think that’s what I love the most about this book. The descriptions of Earth are gorgeous, the individual stories from each astronaught are the same.

Orbital really is awe-inspiring, uplifting and, I think, a work of art. is dense, intensely descriptive and beautifully researched.  It will strike a chord all of sudden when we actually realise we are so teeny tiny living on an incredible planet in the infinite vastness of space.
