Body positivity advocate, author and filmmaker Taryn Brumfitt will join us to screen her new film ‘Embrace Kids’ and discuss her new book examining the impact that body image has on kids. The film targets 8-16 year olds but is relevant to kids of all ages, including teenagers.

Recent studies suggest that body image is the no.1 issue effecting our children.

‘Embrace Kids’ explores the relationship children have with their bodies, why so many boys and girls hate their bodies and what we can do about it. The film covers topics including social media, photoshopping, ‘fitspiration’, the influence of media and advertising on body image and role models.
